![]() The quality of the campaign is down a peg from that of the original Heroes IV campaign. The better part of the pack is that you begin with your heroes at higher levels, and hence can advance them to more advanced spells and powers faster. In all, it’s the standard Heroes IV experience, so if you’ve enjoyed some of the single scenarios in the original game then this here should keep you occupied for a few hours. Usually you have to defeat a random enemy hero so you can get the artifact and move on, with no real story elements. You get 24 scenarios in all, a fairly nice amount, but the objective in most of them is to find an artifact or visit obelisks. ![]() Heroes of Might and Magic IV: The Gathering Storm is the first expansion pack for Heroes IV, weighing in at six linked campaigns, six new heroes, four new neutral creatures and seven new building types.
